Not too much oil or you will have a lot of problems, MAF sensors hate oil. Oiled gauze filters are more trouble than they are worth, I'd rather just buy new paper filters than wash, dry and oil an old one. Are they just cone filters or are they for a specific application? If they are just universal cones and you got them cheap, take them to an import show and make some money, the Honda guys just love them for their hot air intakes.
