I would read Survivor next if I were you. I think it is his best book oh and you should stay away from Haunted it made me throw up.
Oh and if you guys like Chuck Palahniuk I would recommend this book. Its called John Dies at the end its the best book I read in along time.[ame="http://www.amazon.com/dp/031255513X/ref=cm_sw_su_dp"]http://www.amazon.com/dp/031255513X/ref=cm_sw_su_dp[/ame]
I love this author's work, he also was born and lived in the area I live. Which spiked my interest even more. Whats funny is I can see the different elements of his story come from. Sometime he describes a scene that I swear I've seen in the area before.
Tried reading Pygmy, but gave up. It's like a book written by Bitch_Titty.
I'm currently reading Haunted (I've read Fight Club and Choke) and already 1/3 of the way in and I love it. I love how Guts is the first story, really sets the tone the book after that. My favorite character is Mr. Whittier so far, best trollin story ever. Also I have the glow-in-the-dark book cover and that alone was worth the $15 I dropped for it.
XBL Gamertag: Mikey Militant
Haunted has some unknown Belgian director attached to it.

This one has had a lot of issues. The movie was in overdrive to it's completion then with 9/11 it was pretty much halted. As time has passed it looks like more and more this will be made.

It's rumored Jessica Biel might play Shannon.
I just finished reading Survivor (first book of his I've read) I really liked the book. His style is completely different than anyone else's I've ever read, but I do love the style.
Now which one of his books should I read next? I don't really want to read fight club, because I feel it wouldn't be much of a surprise since I've already seen the movie.
Sic Semper Tyrannis
The big plot twist won't be a surprise, but the movie takes a bit of a different storyline than the book. This is actually the first book/movie combination in which I can't decide which is my favorite. They both work really well in their own rights. Hell, I knew the big surprise before both seeing the movie and reading the book, and I still loved them both.
I think Chuck is a little overrated. I also think he bites a lot from Bret Easton Ellis, but then he admitted what a huge influence Ellis was so I softened on it. I think I more or less like his books.
Lullaby is my favorite. There is one section in particular that is just miserably sad. So well written.
His "Stranger Than Fiction" collection might be my favorite. He is at his best describing this genuine oddballs, and his personal stories make some sort of water form in my eyes.
Just picked it up from the library. It was a featured title, so I only get it for three weeks, can't renew it. It's like they're challenging me.
I actually enjoy the style, though. It took a little getting used to, but after the first few pages, I realized I could decipher the meaning of the sentences, even if I couldn't figure out how he was saying it. I give sole credit to this forum for that ability.
